This website is dedicated to the historical inquiry of the erstwhile evangelical German colonies and colonists located in the Vistula-San triangle of former Austrian Galicia, primarily Hohenbach, Reichsheim and Padew, as well as their subsequent migration to Congress Poland, Volhynia, Posen, Latvia, America, Canada, Brazil, and other areas across the globe, covering the period between 1783 to 1945.
The principal objective of this website is to create the most extensive possible analysis of this group of settlers by critically examining and systematically cataloging a diverse range of archival and scientific sources from all of the migration areas.
